Greece pay transparency law
Greece transposed the EU Pay Transparency Directive by Law 5316/2026 (in force July 6, 2026); most employer duties start November 1, 2026. Applicants must be told the starting pay or its range, in writing or orally, before the interview (or before the contract if there's no interview). Putting it in the job ad is the simplest way to comply but isn't strictly required. Employers can't ask about pay history, and vacancy notices must be gender-neutral.
