New York State pay transparency law
Employers with 4 or more employees must include a good-faith pay range (minimum and maximum) or a fixed rate in every advertised job, promotion or transfer, plus the job description if one exists, and must say if pay is commission-only. Covers jobs performed at least partly in New York, and remote jobs outside the state that report to a New York supervisor, office or worksite. Open-ended pay isn't allowed; benefits don't count toward the range and aren't required.
